I agree, the best lemon square recipe I’ve ever used. NO ONE can tell these are GF! The crust is buttery, delicious and – using Authentic Foods flour, they are completely non-grainy. I am asked to make these over and over again because they are simply the best!
Last weekend I made these for a dinner party I was having. They were such a hit that my friends requested an encore performance tonight. These lemon squares are tart & tasty, the texture sublime, and would actually be great as a lemon tart — put in a tart pan, or mini tarts, crimp, and no one would know the difference. I baked mine in a metal 9X13 pan, and it took considerably (10-15 minutes) longer to bake — both for the crust and the filling. So I had to go by color and “set.” Also, it would be very helpful to have the weights in the recipe.
This is probably the BEST lemon bar recipe I think I have ever had! Gluten free or regular! I got so many compliments on it! THANKS!! 😀
Delicious and very easy to make 🙂 I am a novice cook so I was happy to find something uncomplicated, gf and yummy!!
